January 24, 2010, A focus on relaxing and thought.

A Lazy & Thoughtful Sunday!

 Today, In a Nutshell

                Today I focused mainly on myself, reflecting mainly upon the spiritual part of my being.  I attend my “home church” downtown, and then headed out to just enjoy the sights that Houston has to offer.  I visited several parks, and just let time escape me for a change.  I use to do this every day when I was younger, just take time out to let time carry my worries away, and to forget about the day.  Ended just perusing the local Books a Million and ended up finding a book by one of my favorite authors (heehee), Stephen King.  He writes some intense stuff!  This one was on sale for $4.99, a special if there ever was one!  Out the door, I actually paid less than the cover price; around $4.79 (member card saves %10)!  The title is The Running Man, and it one of his earlier works he had wrote under the name of one Richard Bachman.  I waited too late to start reading it, though I did read the Introduction “The Importance of Being Bachman”.  Just thought it would be nice to read on something during the many interims that I encounter; like on the bus for example. Tomorrow will be a busy day for sure, got to work on getting some steady work!!!
