July 13, 2009Have not seen Jim in a couple of days, but talked with a   lady from the Jewish family services here in NJ. We talked about Jim and PTB and what I feel Jim’s needs are and what I think some of his issues are.She gave me her card and said we can work together with him and she will send a field person out to look for him.But she did say they have talked with him before but doesn’t know the outcome. I did tell her about his health issues and is SSD application she was unaware of either. She told me if I do catch him that I can call her and she will be there ASAP if she can that particular day.She indicated that they would see what his needs are and what services are available for him.She was very open to the fact that I was trying to help him and seemed more the willing to help me help him.We also discussed another guy which I have watched for a couple of year now and have helped some but he is deteriorated so much I feel he needs to be brought in to some kind of faculty as his mental condition is very very poor and I have not be able to interact with him so for sometime now. He gets very disorientated and I feel at times doest things that endanger him (such as stands in the road and wont move) (ride his bike threw lights not even looking for cars and almost gets hit lots of times) ;She indicted he is in their system and she will send some one to evaluate him again as they hadn’t seen him in a long time. All is all I felt the contact I made with JFS was a good one today and a step in the right direction.
